The Nursery has an open plan interior, which is bright and spacious. The room is arranged into workshop areas, where a variety of experiences are set up, for Children to move around and investigate at their own stage of development. This encourages independence and allows Children to develop their social skills, make decisions and explore through first hand experience and through play.
To recognise the importance of supporting Children’s learning and development needs from birth we have a separate environment which has been created to match the needs and experiences of our youngest Children.
Our 2-3 year olds are all at the ready to further develop and enhance their physical skills and language, becoming confident and learning to make choices and recognise they are valued. Your child and you are supported by our INCO for your Child's 2 year check with the Health Visitor.
Your 3-4 year old is becoming more independent, and building friendships with others outside of the family. They learn by asking questions and having a go at new things to strengthen their skills.

So what have your children been upto when they come home covered in paint, glue glitter and sequins?
This term we have been talking to the children about people who help us. This has included the obvious Policemen, Nurses, Doctors etc... We have also been lucky to have people come in and talk to the children including a pilot and a nurse.
