The term after your Child’s third birthday s/he is eligible for the Free Entitlement provided by the Government.

This is upto 570 hours per year of flexible free childcare available to all 3 and 4 year olds and eligible 2 year olds.

Some 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for an additional 570 (up to 1,140 ) hours per year, which is called 30 Hours Childcare, if they meet the eligibility criteria.

For 2 year funding apply online at www.westsussex.gov.uk/freechildcare Register your Child at the Nursery with your 2 Year Funding Code as soon as possible as places are limited-one months notice to start is required as minimum

For the 30 Hours Childcare offer please apply a term before you wish your child to start. Go to www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. You will need to re-confirm your eligibilty every 12 weeks. We only offer the 30 Hours Childcare over 12 months, so that is 22 hours per week. Register your Child at the Nursery with your 30 Hours Childcare Code as soon as possible as places are limited

There are additional costs incurred that are not covered by FE funding such as session supplements, additional hours and food.
